College Education + work experience

My college experience consists of a Graphic Arts program at Hastings Central Community College where I earned a 4.0. I also studied the Office Technology program at Northeast Community College.

During college I worked for a local photographer where some of my duties included graphic design work, editing of images and assisting the photographer with photo sessions. I also gained office management skills and experience with a local flooring company where I managed, reconciled and balanced multiple accounts such as the checking, money market and credit card accounts, maintained confidentiallity of employee records, along with many other business related duties. I then went on to work as a web designer for a printing company that mainly marketed toward the photographic industry and designed close to 200 photography web sites.

In March 2004 I got engaged and decided to design my own invitations and programs for our wedding. After I got married in March 2005, I designed my own custom 10x10 Art Leather, flush-mount wedding album. It was during the creation of my album that I fell in love with the idea of providing other bride and groom couples with an artistic album that focused on telling their story of loving moments and emotion. Shortly after being married, my husband and I found out we were going to become parents! We had a beautiful baby girl in December of 2005. After becoming a parent myself, I realized just how important it is to capture all those little moments because time seems to pass by so quickly. The experiences of being a parent deepened my love even more for capturing and creating storybooks of life.

tl design officially began when I started designing custom flush mount wedding albums for a photographer in the spring of 2006. Since then I have enjoyed working with a variety of clients and have had the pleasure of creating many distinct and creative designs. I have truly enjoyed getting involved with every unique story and feel honored to be providing my clients with designs that will compliment their life and their business. I truly enjoy getting to know my clients and I very much look forward to meeting you as well.
